SK Telecom desolate Huawei, while selecting vendors for #5G Equipments

South Korean wireless operator SK Telecom has selected Samsung Electronics, Ericsson, and Nokia as its preferred bidders for 5G equipment while ignoring Huawei, according to a report by zdnet.com. 

Huawei which is embroiled in controversy in Korea, US and Australia was expected to be named as one of the preferred bidders, however that did not happen. Although the government said it had no plans to block Huawei from bidding.
